Welcome to the website of Festival Angels! Festival Angels are volunteer teams who work at several music festivals across the UK over the summer months. We work in areas such as prayer cafes, detached teams, safe place hubs and lost property. Festival Angels is a Christian organisation who believe that Jesus Loves Festivals!
Our heart and mission is to 'love the person in front of us' through support and help for festival-goers and partnership with festival organisers.

Jesus loves festivals? Really? What about the Jesus of stuffy, dusty buildings and old wooden pews? Does he love festivals? Well the Jesus many of our volunteers know is quite different to the one you might have heard about- he loves people, knows how to laugh, and cares about you.
Jesus' teachings are still discussed and debated today, he loved those on the edges of society, he upset the political and religious leaders of the day, he healed the sick, raised the dead and spoke truths about life, faith, spirituality and God. He was also sentenced to a cruel death, murdered on a cross, because he claimed to be the Son of God. His death was part of God's eternal plan! It was God's way of offering life, love, forgiveness, hope, peace and a way to life beyond the here and now. We also believe that death was not the end, Jesus rose from the dead and showed his nail pierced hands to those who doubted.
We invite you to try following Jesus! How? Simples! Ask him by praying "Jesus - I want to start following you. I invite you into my life, to become central to my life. Help me become the kind of person you want me to be. Help me to change to be a blessing to you, to others and to my community. Amen"

Throughout the weekend, we were genuinely impressed and, if I am honest, quite blown away by the level of care, compassion and attention shown by every member of the Festival Angels team we encountered. It was wonderful to see such kindness in action and it made a tremendous difference to our experience. In a world where people are often in a hurry, it was incredibly touching to meet so many people who were willing to give their time, patience and understanding so freely. And as volunteers! Incredible.
I would like to thank the 3 Festival angels (on Saturday)that helped get my husband who has MS to the disability bus to the transport hub. We had been pointed in so many directions by others and he was literally unable to walk any further! You were literal angels!
I had the pleasure of meeting some of you on Saturday night during a medical emergency, it was reassuring to know we were in your prayers. God Bless you all, keep up the great work xx
shoutout to @FestivalAngels for supplying the unlimited cafe, drinks n biscuits 24/7. so so appreciative for it n I think it’s so under appreciated. Honestly couldn’t of coped without

Fortunately she’s got a good head on her shoulders and was ok but it sounds like it’s chaos there. Well done for your efforts, it really is appreciated xx
