Festival Angels is very much a volunteer led organisation with amazing teams of Festival Angels who invest massively into supporting and helping festival-goers each and every year.
Festival Angels is part of ROC Angels who support and resource around 100 local projects including Street Angels.
Whilst festivals generally make a donation towards the work of Festival Angels, and some of our activity brings in money, this just about covers our costs. We always go above and beyond in the welfare items we make available (sun tan lotion, sanitary products, plasters, ponchos, foil blankets, Jesus Loves Festivals tattoos, etc) and we have one full time ROC Angels paid employer who oversees the festival work as part of his overall work. Leeds Festival Angels has one very part time paid role.
Our heart is to offer an exceptional level of support and welfare to festivals and events through amazing teams of volunteers who, as an organisation, we invest in, offer training to and support throughout the year.
